So I took a trip up to Limpid Lake and spent the whole day snooping around and swimming and came across a lot of new friends who inhabit the lake. They were a bit shy at first but eventually I won their trust and we got to chatting( well we managed to understand each other) and i took some notes (about 49 pages in my notebook) which i am going to use to introduce you to them on the website I’ve just got to find the time as i have been really busy on my farm and also helping Ted as i always do. There is no more information on the land expansion, ( Ted is keeping things very close to his chest ) but as soon as i hear anything i’ll let you all know. If the weather stays like it is i will be spending more time exploring around the lake as long as it doesnt rain, I will be alright and as my umberella is broken i’m thinking of buying a wetsuit and snorkel for my next trip so i can get right down to the bottom and see whats there
Well it looks like Ted is planning to expand the dairy again. I’m not sure by how much but he seems optemistic that it will be fairly substantial. Things havent been going to well for the Landowners around here due to the current financial situation and Teds managed to get some money together from selling his cheeses and other business deals so he has been secretly negotiating. (I happened to overhear him talking but dont tell him) with the Local Council
Would you believe it my television in the kitchen packed up last night (its the one I watch when the missus insists on watching her italian programs) So I had to go back to Pesco and get it changed. Everything went smoothly until I discovered I had left the remote control at home so I made a quick call home on my new mobile phone and got the wife to wake Orville up and trot down the store with it (he wasn’t too pleased but I’ve helped him in the past) and I got it exchanged for a newer one at no extra cost so now i can watch my programs again.
The wife kindly booked a week away in May, as its our anniversary, at what i believe (and she insists) is some kind of Holiday camp but i’m not so sure as i have had a look at it on Googlies and it looks more like a WWII prison camp to me. Aparrently Dom and Rosie are going as well at the same time so I hope its going to be good fun but just in case I’m taking along a couple of shovels and some wooden strips in case i have to dig my way out during the night. Wish me luck
Remember the meerkats that turned up here a while ago? Well it turns out that they eventually caught up with their relation Alexandr. He has written directed and starred in his own movie and they were kind enough to send me a copy. have a look
Just thought i’d show you an aerial view of my farm. As you can see i’ve been very busy building, planting and ploughing I’ve now got buildings that i can rent out for farming holidays you have the choice of staying in the Villa, Farmhouse,Estate Building or Cottage and they are very comfortable and the foods good so if you fancy something different for your annual holiday let me know and i’ll book you in (prices vary and are very reasonable) but get in early as i have already had many enquiries and taken several confimed bookings. Click in the picture to see the complete farm
It’s only a few days till another year begins. I’ve been invited to a new year party and i will be taking along my favourite tipple 2 bottles of cheese wine vintage 2005 its an aquired taste so i dont expect anyone else to be drinking it but you never know. This year once again there will be Karaoke and i have been told I have got to sing so I have been tickling my tonsils with a few Johnny Cash numbers to get in practice. No doubt I will be the talk of the town afterwards because I am not the best singer in fact I’m as good a singer as Les Dawson was a piano player (for those that come from foreign parts he was an english comedian who played the piano rather badly in his sketches ( do a search on youtube)). So wish me luck and i will let you all know how it went.
Well Christmas draws near and another round of piggin’ out is almost upon us. I am not going to overdo things this year and i shall restrain from over indulging. I have been busy on the farm and everyone here is loking forward to the new year and the changes it might bring. Ted is taking a well earned beak for 2 weeks and he hopes that the new year will bring a bit more stability in the financial world so he can make improvements. We have had a lot mor animals turn up Just for the Xmas period and some of them might stay on
Let me take this opportunity to wish eveyone a happy Xmas and an even better New Year.
See you all in 2010
Apart from going on holiday I have been very busy tending my new farm ( Ted gave me a plot of land) I have been working hard planting, building, ploughing and seeding etc its very hard work but rewarding. Not much has been going on here all the animals are fine and the threat of closure has passed thanks to Ted and his marketing skills. He has a new project in mind but hasn’t told me what it is yet so as soon as i find out what he’s planning you’ll be the first to know
